Europa acquires Dandara Living’s Granary Quay development in Glasgow

The 342-unit Granary Quay development has been acquired by pan-European real estate investor, Europa.

Located in Glasgow’s West End, Granary Quay, which comprises a mix of studio, 1-bed and 2-bed apartments is just a 10-minute bus ride away from The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, the largest Hospital Campus in Europe, Partick train station and the SEC and OVO Hydro. Designed to a high standard, the development offers residents an array of on-site amenities including lounge and dining space, co-working facilities, gym, and riverfront gardens.

Dandara Living Management has been retained by Europa to operate Granary Quay, and the development which began welcoming its first residents in May is already 70% occupied.

Granary Quay is a high-quality BTR asset providing well-located accommodation that is affordable to the mainstream renter in a market which is heavily undersupplied and continues to present viability challenges for new development.

The acquisition of Granary Quay by Europa is further recognition of the growth potential and confidence in the UK’s BTR sector, and Dandara Living’s position as leading specialist in the delivery and operation of large-scale multifamily schemes.

Dandara Living currently has 5,000 BTR units under management, the majority on behalf of third-party investors, and sites secured to bring forward a further 8,000 apartments and PBSA beds across the UK.
